Camp Two Hearted

Your basecamp in wild Michigan

29832 Harrison Trail, Newberry, MI — A ten-acre private camp right on the Two Hearted River, about a mile from Lake Superior (as the crow flies).

Why rock lovers will like it

Close to the Lake Superior shoreline near the mouth of the Two Hearted River and Muskallonge Lake — great for agate hunting and after-dark Yooperlite hunts. Easy day trips to Crisp Point, the Whitefish Point area, Tahquamenon Falls, and Pictured Rocks.

The stay

The whole camp is rented to one group (sleeps 16+). Main cabin with two queen rooms, a loft, kitchen, wood stove and screened porch, plus a bunkhouse with four queen bunk beds. Wood-fired sauna, kayaks and a canoe, fire pit, trails, and adjacent state land. Off-grid solar power with generator backup and a vault toilet (no indoor running water). Bring your own sheets, pillows and blankets or sleeping bags.

Good to know

Open year-round. Remote location with limited cell service — stock up in Newberry first. AWD/4x4 strongly recommended in winter. Steep path down to the river.

Rates
Starting at $350/night (whole camp)
